District vice-president Sarabjit Singh Shanty described his elevation as an inspiration for party workers and expressed confidence that he would strongly raise issues related to Punjab, border areas, youth, industry and trade in Parliament.Party workers said Chugh's nomination reflected the BJP's worker-centric culture, where dedication and organisational work are rewarded.
