Bike-borne assailants pump 10 bullets into Haryana gym owner during outdoor workout session; Bishnoi-linked gang says 'we got this done'

NEW DELHI: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder of a gym owner who was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne assailants in Haryana's Hansi on Thursday, police said.

The incident took place near Fawwara Chowk, when the victim, identified as Kapil Redhu, the operator of Red Gym, was conducting an outdoor exercise session for a group of young men and women.
CCTV visuals showed the assailants arriving on a motorcycle and opening fire at the victim from close range, firing around 10 rounds before fleeing the spot.

Shortly after the murder, a social media post surfaced from an account named "Hari Boxer Sundar Hanshi" taking credit for the execution. In the post, the writer states, "Ram Ram to all brothers. Today, the murder of Kapil Redhu (operator of Red Gym) that took place in Hansi, Haryana—I, Hari Boxer, RD Dhaliwal, Harman Sandhu, and Vikram Kridan take responsibility for it. We got this done."

The post further alleges that Redhu was the main conspirator behind previous firing incidents in Sheikhpura and Dhani Puriya, claiming that despite being warned twice by "Sundar Bhai Hanshi," he did not comply.

The gang issued a chilling warning to others involved in those incidents and those cooperating with their enemies, stating that they know who everyone is and have already made phone calls.

The message concludes with a threat that death is knocking at their doorsteps, followed by the words "wait and watch" and "SALAM SAHIDA NU."

The post explicitly tagged the Lawrence Bishnoi group, Sandeep Sethi group, Jitender Gogi Maan group, and DC group, listing several individuals including Aarzoo Bishnoi, Anil Pandit USA, Tyson Bishnoi, Shubam Lonkar, Zora Sidhu, Kala Rana, Sherdil, Madhur Yamunapur, and Piyush Piplani.


Police are currently investigating the authenticity of the social media post and tracking down the assailants.
