ASI caught taking bribe

FEROZEPUR: Assistant sub inspector Des Raj, posted at Ferozepur Cantt police station, was caught red-handed, on Tuesday evening, while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000. Anita Punj, SP, Vigilance, said they had been tipped off by Ashwani Kumar, who said the ASI had demanded a bribe for initiating action against one Anil Kumar, against whom Ashwani had lodged a complaint.
