Ambala: Educationist and Sikh scholar Gurdev Singh of Ambala has been nominated as advisor (honorary) to the National Commission for Minorities (NCM) for advising the commission on the community’s issues in
Haryana.
Gurdev has been nominated to the post in an NCM communication dated February 13.
Gurdev would aid, advise and guide the commission for the achievement of its mandate for the welfare and development of minority communities.
Gurdev retired as principal from Haryana higher education department and later from Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana. tnn
