4 PCR constables suspended

CHANDIGARH: Four constables of PCR wing were suspended and two home guard volunteers were removed from the PCR wing for not performing their duties sincerely on Friday.
The suspended cops include Jagbir Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Sunil Kumar and Parmod Kumar. The volunteers are Harwinder Singh and Phool Singh of Chandigarh home guard department.
DSP (communication) Roshan Lal said there were inputs from city residents that PCR vehicles were not reaching the spots within stipulated time frame of three to five minutes.He said a drill was conducted by Inspector SPS Sondhi and two PCR vehicles of central division were not found present at the specific locations.
