PhD papers to be digitised: Min

Bhopal: PhD research thesis in the state will soon be digitised to maintain transparency and prevent plagiarism, said higher education minister Mohan Yadav.
He said that soon a seminar will be organised for PhD guides with the help of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis in this connection.
Yadav was conducting a departmental review recently.Yadav while congratulating 700 assistant professors, librarians, sports officers of the higher education department on the completion of their probationary period said that the remaining orders should also be issued soon.
He agreed to provide 10,000 APP to the promoted professors on the same lines as the direct recruitment professors. Yadav said that action should be taken soon on the process of submission of pending proposals related to the department in the cabinet. Instructed to organise a joint meeting with the finance minister to solve the financial difficulties, he said.
Minister said that with the help of Madhya Pradesh Election Commission, cap base line survey is being done in connection with assembly-wise voting awareness by 75 identified government colleges of the state. In this, it should be ensured that the students of the campus hostels also make voter ID cards, he added.
