BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief secretary R. Parasuram chaired a meeting of top bureaucratic officers on Tuesday to discuss preparations for the monsoon session in the state assembly starting from July 16. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the state secretariat.
Chief secretary Parasuram reviewed department-wise progress of preparations for the upcoming assembly session.
He said that all departments should develop a system to send answers of questions raised in the floor of the House online. He instructed that departments should also send answers to questions to the Vidhan Sabha secretariat at the earliest.
The meeting was informed that the facility of sending Vidhan Sabha answers online will be developed before the commencement of the next session of state assembly. At present, eight departments are sending answers online to questions raised in the House. These include panchayats & rural development department, home, urban administration & development, public health engineering, energy, school education, revenue & health departments.
Parasuram directed bureaucratic heads to complete all the works in connection with Vidhan Sabha. Besides answers to questions, departments were asked to be additionally cautious about sending answers to unanswered questions of previous sessions, assurances, remarks of Public Accounts Committee, zero hour matters, adjournments and current burning issues.
