Gold chain snatched from man’s neck

Bhopal: Yet another chain-snatching case was registered at Bag Sewania police station on Tuesday. The complainant, a 42-year-old man, alleged that three individuals on a scooter snatched his gold chain worth Rs 40,000 from his neck while he was returning home from the market two days ago.Bag Sewania SHO Amit Soni said that the complainant, Prashant Vimal, 42, a resident of Unique Colony Campus in Bag Sewania, works in a private job. He said that on Oct 26, around 8:15 pm, while he was returning home from the market, he was approached by three individuals on a scooter near Anjali Vihar, Bag Sewania. They fled after snatching his gold chain from his neck. Acting on his complaint, Bag Sewania police registered a case on charges of snatching. Police are scanning footage from CCTV cameras to identify the accused.
