Bangalore: After almost a month of scorching heat and dry weather, some parts of the city received the first drizzle on Monday. The weather was cloudy and temperature comparatively low since morning. But the welcome drops landed only around 8 pm. According to the meterological department, this is a temporary respite that will last till Tuesday. A trough of low pressure in the south-west bay off the Tamil Nadu coast was the reason for this pleasant change.
