Minister, tainted corporator visit trapped DC

BANGALORE: A minister, along with a tainted corporator and a former minister, visited H Ramanjaneyappa, Special Rural DC, who was trapped by the Lokayukta while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 to convert a complainant's agricultural land to commercial use.
The KAS officer was remanded to judicial custody till December 13.
Credible sources said, "Corporator Katta Jagadish, accompanied by social welfare minister Narayanaswamy and former minister Venkataramanappa, visited the accused."
Venkataramanappa told a TV channel, "Yes, we visited the accused.But now I feel guilty about it."
