B S Yeddyurappa's followers slammed the Lokayukta report on illegal mining as flawed and biased.
Releasing a booklet titled 'Lokayukta Report, B S Yeddyurappa A Scapegoat?', Bangalore North MP D B Chandre Gowda and some legislator said the latter had no role in illegal mining and the report submitted by the then Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde was beyond the scope of terms of reference set for the probe.
"The second report of Justice Hegde contains many omissions and commissions. It appears the report was submitted in haste to meet somebody else's deadline. It only targeted Yeddyurappa and BJP government. " claims the booklet authored by four advocates - Prakash M G, E M Akandeshwara, M Mahesh and Ambarish. Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa has asked his followers not to organize events to felicitate him.
