The complaint, Haider Ali Khan, grandson of Zulfiqar Ali, a five-term Lok Sabha MP from Rampur, said, “It appears from the Facebook post that the SP leader and his son know something about the ‘mysterious road accident’ that claimed my grandfather’s life.”
The Congress leader had died in an accident that took place on National Highway 24 near Pilkhwa in Hapur district on April 5 in 1992 when he was on his way to Delhi.
Terming the allegations levelled by Haider Ali “fake and concocted”, Adeeb’s younger brother Abdullah Azam, an MLA from Swar-Tanda, said appropriate reply against the FIR would be filed before the court.
