TIRUPATI: Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy credited chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's efforts in ensuring a lion's share allocation for Andhra Pradesh in the union budget.
Observing that for the state of Andhra Pradesh, which is at crossroads due to the injustice done on account of the unilateral bifurcation in 2014 coupled with the policy paralysis in the state during the YSRCP regime between 2019-2024, Vemireddy felt that Tuesday's budget 2024-2025 presented by the union finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman, came as a major boost for revival of its hopes on all fronts.

"The alliance pact between the TDP-BJP-Jana Sena has rekindled hope in the minds of the people of Andhra Pradesh and by placing Andhra Pradesh's interests on the top in the budget allocations, BJP has once again proven its commitment to the development of the state", Nellore MP thanked the BJP led NDA govt.
Meanwhile, Vemireddy also met union ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar at New Delhi on Tuesday.
The Nellore MP drew the attention of the union minister of state for rural development and communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar to the bad condition of roads particularly in the Nellore parliament constituency.
"The YSRCP regime completely neglected the road infrastructure and bad roads and infrastructure is really affecting the overall lifestyle of the rural folk. People are facing hardships in reaching the hospitals at the time of emergencies and farmers are finding it extremely hard to transport their produce", Vemireddy lamented and appealed to the union minister to accord top priority in addressing the road infrastructure issues faced by the people of Nellore parliament.
