AMARAVATI: The India Meteorological Department issued a forecast on Thursday, predicting thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in various regions of
Andhra Pradesh for a five-day period starting from May 30. The affected areas include parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh (NCAP), Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP), and Rayalaseema, which are likely to experience rainfall and gusty winds.
According to a release from the Meteorological department, wind speeds could reach up to 40 kilometers per hour (kmph) during this period.
In addition to the thunderstorms, the department also forecasted heavy rainfall in certain parts of Rayalaseema on June 2.
