Four killed, six injured in a road mishap near Mogili ghat section in Chittoor district

TIRUPATI: Four persons were killed and six sustained grievous injuries in a glory road mishap reported at the Mogili ghat road in Bangarupalem mandal of Chittoor district on Wednesday night.
According to the local police, a speeding truck ran over a tractor, resulting in the death of four persons on the spot. Six others who sustained injuries were rushed to the govt hospital at Chittoor.
Police said all the four deceased were residents of Keeramandha village in Bangarupalem mandal.
Police registered a case and shifted the bodies of the deceased for postmortem. The identities of the deceased is yet to be established by the police.
