UPSTDC proposes motorboats at Sangam

Allahabad: UP State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has mooted a proposal to operate two motorboats between Triveni Darshan and Sangam for tourists arriving at Sangam.
The devotees and pilgrims would be able to cover long distances between Triveni Darshan and Sangam within minutes.
UPSTDC chairman Sudip Ranjan Sen said that idea of operating motorboats has been included in the proposal after witnessing that scores of tourists spent enough time to cover the distance between Triveni Darshan and Sangam.He said that the proposal to construct a pucca ghat at Triveni Darshan was also in pipeline.
Another UPSTDC official said that there are plans to construct four eco-friendly toilets at the lawns of Triveni Darshan so that visitors do not face unwanted trouble. The estimates for the construction has been prepared and corporation would take steps to get the work done.
