Cops bust burglars’ gang, 4 arrested

Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Sunday busted an inter-district gang of burglars and arrested its four key members near Gulamipur Canal Bridge Road. Police have also recovered stolen jewellery worth lakhs of rupees, Rs 12,000 in cash, and foreign currency worth Rs 50,000 from their possession. The arrested burglars, identified as Sonu Pasi, Anil Pasi, Jitendra Yadav, and Sharda Prasad,are residents of Karari (Kaushambi). Police said the gang of burglars had executed several thefts in different parts of Kaushambi and the neighbouring Prayagraj district. SP (Kaushambi) has announced a Rs 25,000 cash reward for the police team.
