Cops arrest 5 drug peddlers

ALLAHABAD: Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a gang involved in drug smuggling and arrested it's six members near Khuldabad crossing, when they were plotting to dispose off stolen materials. The police have also seized stolen ornaments worth Rs 50,000, toxic power and other articles from their possession.
Police said that the gang mastermind identified as Nazurudin, a resident of Moradabad was operating the gang activities in Delhi, Rampur, Bareilly, Lucknow and Allahabad routes.The gang members had hired 3 three wheelers to take stolen materials.
The police have also seized one of the three-wheeler from their possession.
Meanwhile, the police have also busted a gambling den and arrested five gamblers near Khuldabad. They have seized Rs 6,500 in cash and five mobile set from their possession.
