22-year-old held for patricide

Prayagraj: A 22-year-old youth identified as Vijay Kumar Yadav alias Chotu (22), a resident of Sithauli was arrested by Utrav police on Friday on the charges of killing his father and burying the body in backyard of the house on May 11.

Cops have also recovered the shovel and a stick used for the killing. Police said that the accused had allegedly killed his father Dayaram over a domestic dispute and buried his body in the backyard of the house. The case came to fore when villagers raised suspicion over the activities of the accused and informed the police on May 13. The cops then recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
