Daughter-in-law abuses doctor in Ahmedabad, damages property

AHMEDABAD: A doctor, a resident of Naranpura, registered a complaint against his daughter-in-law Anshu Purohit for allegedly attacking his house in Naranpura.
The complainant, Govind Purohit, said that he lives with his elder son Yogesh and daughter-in-law Swati. On the evening of March 30, he and his wife Geeta were at his hospital when he received a call from Yogesh who informed him that Rajveer and his wife Anshu had come to their residence and were creating ruckus.
He was informed by Yogesh that Swati refused to open the door for Rajveer and Anshu.When he reached home, he found that the couple were abusing the other members of the family. On seeing the complainant, they started abusing him too. Anshu then damaged a window and a door. Anshu, who was agitated, attacked his car and a two-wheeler of the complainant and damaged them.
He stated that since Anshu was his daughter-in-law, the relatives asked him not to register any complaint, but finally on Sunday he registered the complaint with Naranpura police.
