BSF tennis tournament winners declared

AHMEDABAD: The final matches of All India level Border Security Force (BSF) Interior - Lawn Tennis Tournament 2016 organized by Border Security Force, Frontier Gujarat was held on Tuesday in Gandhinagar.
The winner of team event was from Tekanpur (Madhya Pradesh) and runner-up was the team from Meghalaya. In Veteran Singles, joint winners were IG – Gujarat Frontier Ajay Kumar Tomar and Commandant H S Tolia of Meghalaya Frontier.
In Veteran Doubles, the winners were Ajay Kumar Tomar and Dinesh Pal Singh, DIG -BSF, New Delhi. Runner-up was R C Dhyani, DIG of Chakur and Commandant Rakesh Negi, New Delhi. In Open Singles, the winner was Shailesh Kumar, 136 BN BSF, Frontier Gujarat, and the runner-up was Vikram Dev Singh of Frontier Rajasthan. In Open Doubles, the joint winners were IGP Ajay Kumar Tomar and Commandant Shailesh Kumar of Gujarat Frontier. Vikram Dev Singh of Rajasthan and G S Nag- BSF Academy Tekanpur (Madhya Pradesh). The winners and runner-ups were given trophies and mementos by IG Ajay Tomar.
