AHMEDABAD: A 46-year-old practising advocate, a resident of Paldi, registered a complaint with Ellisbridge Police against his live-in partner. The advocate claimed that his live-in partner abused him and damaged his car which was parked outside his office.
The advocate in his complaint registered on Saturday stated that he was in a live-in relationship since 2014 and this relationship continued till 2022.
He stated that they used to live in Paldi. On several occasions, he was turned out of his house by his live-in partner after the two had a dispute.
In the last week of December 2022, he was asked to leave the house and was not allowed to take anything along.
The advocate stated that the house was in the name of his mother. On February 3, he was at his office in Ellisbridge when his live-in partner came to his office accompanied by their children and started abusing him.
When he went down and asked her to give documents, including his passport, she got agitated and allegedly tried to assault him, but he was saved by his staff. The advocate alleged that while leaving his office, she damaged his car which was parked outside his office. On Saturday, he lodged a complaint against her.
