Bigg Boss tasks that shocked the inmates

Reality show Bigg Boss is known for the not-so-polite participants, big fights, fake love and much more. But what keeps the show running are the tasks which not only catch the interest of the audience but also give the house inmates a chance to take sides and prove themselves. From bathing in smelly cow dung to chopping off their hair, Bigg Boss contestants have done it all to inch closer to the winner’s trophy. Check out the most shocking tasks which added a dash of spice to the game.

Smelly task
One of the extremely weird tasks carried out in the Bigg Boss house was the cow dung task during the seventh season. Two house inmates were to be selected to soak themselves in a tub full of cow dung for two hours. While many barely managed to stand anywhere close it, Ratan Rajput volunteered to do the task. Though she shivered and quivered in the dung, she proved that she has all that it takes to perform a task. Needless to say, she bathed multiple times to get rid of the smell, but in vain.

Doggy task
A dog can be man’s best friend but can the friends share their food plates? No. But Kushal Tandon did it all to stay in the Bigg Boss house during the eighth season. Kushal was asked by inmates to perform the task of drinking water from a dog's bowl. While his alleged love interest Gauahar Khan called the task inhuman, Kushal went ahead to gulp down the water from the bowl in one go. Soon after, the hunk rushed to the washroom to throw up what he had drank.

Hijack task
The Hijack task on Bigg Boss 8 was one of the nastiest tasks which gave the inmates an opportunity to torture their enemies. Karishma Tanna and Diandra Soares applied chilli paste on Natasha’s face and even rubbed their smelly footwear all over her. Moreover, when chilli powder was rubbed on Gautam Gulati’s face, he could not bear it and hurled abuses at Karishma. This led to high tension in the Bigg Boss house and Gautam was not allowed to nominate anyone in the nomination round.

Go bald task
Hair play a big role in defining a person’s look but both Apurva Agnihotri and Sangram Singh had to shave off their prized possession for a Bigg Boss task in 2013. Over much hullabaloo, the two went ahead to get their hair cut in a mohawk by other inmates. Apurva’s wife, Shilpa, who shared the Bigg Boss house with him was inconsolable over his haircut for quite some time.

Bull task
A joyride can be a great idea to bring some much needed cheer in the Bigg Boss house. A bull machine was placed in the house with names of food items hanging over it. The contestants were required to hit the cards with a stick while jumping on the bull. Though the ride was bumpy, the contestants were able to grab all the food items listed on the cards. While Elli Avram was the best performer, Sangram Singh also did well, collecting extra luxuries than even the luxury budget!
