Thousands of AAP workers in Delhi and other major cities of India held protests against the arrest of Manish Sisodia by the CBI. The CBI has arrested Manish Sisodia in the Delhi liquor scam case. AAP supporters held protests in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bhopal and other places, saying the arrest is at the behest of the Central government. Arvind Kejriwal also claimed that majority of CBI officers were against Sisodia’s arrest. The BJP, on the other hand, claimed that Sisodia wasn’t cooperating in the probe and so he had to be arrested. The party also called upon Kejriwal to drop Sisodia as well as Satyendar Jain from the Delhi Cabinet.
