Stronger armour for Jammu and Kashmir police vehicles from Midhani

For enhanced protection against terrorist attacks, the Jammu and Kashmir Police intend to get upgraded armoured vehicles to meet the latest international security standards. Initial discussions have already taken place between Midhani, a government of India enterprise based at Kanchanbagh in Hyderabad, and top brass of the J&K police. Midhani has an armoured products manufacturing plant at Rohtak in Harayana and J&K DGP Dilbag Singh and officials were shown around the place and the capacity to deliver what the police was seeking.
