STORY: Special preparations are underway in Ayodhya for the upcoming Navaratri celebrations, which commences on Wednesday. A special green-coloured dress for Lord Ram Lalla's idol is also being prepared for the occasion. Shankar Lal, who has been making the attire for Ram Lalla for decades, said the idol will be decked up in separate outfits for each day of Navaratri. Ram Naami will be celebrated on March 30, for which special preparations have been made. As is the tradition every year, traditional programmes will be organised on the occasion of Ram Navami. Devotees will be able to catch a glimpse of Ram Lalla from a distance. The Head priest of the Ram temple, Satyendra Das, said this year's Ram Navami celebrations will be grand. The Ram Lalla temple will be decked up for the nine-day Navaratri festival. Special events have been planned on Ram Navami, which will be witnessed by thousands of devotees.
