Schools in Bengaluru get hoax bomb threat

Dog and bomb squad checked the premises of Bishop Cotton Girls School in Bengaluru after the school received bomb threat on an e-mail alert on Monday. The authorities soon alerted the cops. Multiple private schools in Bengaluru received bomb threats via e-mail, prompting police to rush to the locations, along with a bomb disposal unit, to conduct search operations. The threats were later determined to be "hoax". Senior police officials said they have received calls that at least five Bengaluru schools in the city have been threatened with bombs. The investigation teams were looking into the hoax email now.
