Joshimath: After cracks in houses, oozing water and sounds from under the ground leave residents in panic

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured residents of Joshimath that the government will take all steps for the safety of the residents. 26 families have already been shifted from their houses after the houses developed huge cracks. Meanwhile residents say they can hear strange sounds from under the ground and water is oozing from the ground. Residents also held a protest demanding that the authorities stop all construction activity in the vicinity.
