External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar defended India’s decision to buy oil Russia. Speaking to the media after meeting his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in the national capital, Dr. S Jaishankar said, “I think we need to establish facts very clearly. EU between February-November has imported more fossil fuel from Russia than the next 10 countries combined. To be precise, oil import by EU is six times that of India.”
