Google Photos has received an AI-powered update with conversational editing tools. Instead of adjusting sliders or navigating complex menus, you can now describe the edits you want—by typing or speaking—and the app will apply them. You can request changes, such as removing people in the background, improving lighting, or restoring older images. It also allows creative edits, such as changing backgrounds or adding new elements. The update will first be available on Pixel 10 devices in the US and later expand to Android and iOS. Google is also introducing C2PA Content Credentials for more transparency around AI-edited photos.
