In a thrilling cricket match, India secured their fifth consecutive win, propelling them to the top spot in the tournament rankings. This victory came as India outperformed New Zealand by four wickets in Dharamshala, maintaining their unbeaten streak in the World Cup. However, the match wasn't without its share of heartbreak for fans, as Virat Kohli narrowly missed out on a well-deserved century. In his attempt to take control of the game, Kohli tried to slog a slower delivery from Matt Henry, only to be caught by Glenn Phillips in the deep. With this win, India is now gearing up to face England in their upcoming match. Additionally, Mohammed Shami's stellar performance in the game elevated him to the prestigious position of being the third-highest wicket-taker for India in World Cup history. The day started with India winning the toss and opting to bat first, and it was evident that the team was prepared to make some strategic changes following Hardik Pandya's injury. Consequently, Rohit Sharma made two changes to the playing XI, introducing Surya Kumar Yadav and Mohammed Shami, both making their first appearances in the One Day International format.
