Rs 20,000 crore liquidity for NPAs or stressed MSMEs, announces govt

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in a press conference today announced booster measures for MSMEs. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government has decided to provide stressed MSMEs with equity support. FM Sitharaman said that the government will facilitate the provision of Rs. 20,000 Crores as subordinate debt. Besides, collateral free loan to be provided to SMEs with a 12 month moratorium that will help 45 lakh units, says FM Nirmala Sitharaman.
