Indian Meteorological Department Scientist Dr Soma Sen Roy talked about the sudden weather change in various parts of Delhi on March 18.Speaking to ANI, Dr Soma Sen Roy said, “These sudden changes have occurred because of the series of Western Disturbances. We had issued an orange alert for it. We had reports of hailstorms and thunderstorms in many parts of India. We are expecting the weather to be focused more over the East Peninsular India, Central India and Northeast India. It will shift more to east and northeast India the next day and the day after. A Western Disturbance and will arrive the next day and a fresh one the day after. Another on the March 22 is expected to arrive and the weather pattern will start. Eastern India will receive rainfall with quite good severity of thunderstorms. North India is expected to observe isolated rainfall till March 25/26/.”
