'No alliance with congress...': Upset Akhilesh Yadav on no seat sharing with Congress in Madhya Pradesh elections

Akhilesh Yadav, the Chief of the Samajwadi Party, strongly criticized the Congress on October 19, citing their failure to allocate seats for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. He expressed distrust in the Congress, asserting that he wouldn't have relied on them had he known that Congress leaders might betray their alliance. Akhilesh Yadav stated, "The state chief lacks authority and wasn't part of the discussions in Patna or Mumbai. What does he know about the INDIA alliance?... Some individuals in Congress have affiliations with the BJP. If I had known that the alliance was not binding at the state level, I wouldn't have entrusted SP leaders to Digvijaya Singh... I wouldn't have placed my trust in them." Notably, the Samajwadi Party unveiled its second list of candidates for the impending Madhya Pradesh assembly elections on October 18, revealing the names of 22 candidates.
