Jaipur: Institute of Neuro Sciences and Ophthalmology to be built in SMS Medical College

Rajasthan is continuously establishing new dimensions in the field of health facilities. Under this, the Institute of Neuro Sciences and Ophthalmology will be established in Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. For this, a proposal of Rs 293.79 crore has been approved by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. A 9-storey building will be constructed for this institute in the nursing hostel located near Sawai Man Singh Hospital. A 3-storey basement parking will be made in this. An amount of Rs 50 crore will be spent on this during the year 2023-24. In the budget of the year 2023-24, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced the setting up of the Institute of Neuro Sciences and Ophthalmology and parking in Sawai Man Singh Medical College. Under this, this institute will be constructed while expanding the health facilities in the state.
