BJP Bets Big On 5000 Km Bengal 'Parivartan Yatra', Signals All Out Push Against Mamata's TMC
Five thousand kilometres on the road. Sixty-three mega rallies. More than 230 Assembly constituencies. The Parivartan Yatra marks the BJP’s biggest electoral mobilisation in West Bengal. The party says it aims to convert public discontent into political change. Launched in Cooch Behar by Nitin Nabin, the yatra features top leaders like Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh. The narrative targets governance, law and order, corruption and border security. Rural outreach will focus on farmers and central schemes, while urban messaging will stress jobs and industry. The campaign ends with a massive rally in Kolkata addressed by Narendra Modi. From just three seats in 2016 to 77 in 2021, the BJP’s rise in Bengal has been sharp. Now, it wants the final leap.
