Air India urination incident: Man who flashed at woman flyer identified as Mumbai businessman Shekhar Mishra
The man who under heavy influence of alcohol urinated on a woman flyer aboard Air India’s New York-Delhi flight on November 26 has been identified as Mumbai based businessman Shekhar Mishra. Probe into the shameful incident picked up pace only after the woman wrote a letter to Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran. Delhi Police have now filed a case and are trying to arrest the person. Police say they were briefed about the incident by the airline only on December 28 after which they contacted the victim and the airline. The conduct of the airline staff has also come under question as they did not handover the unruly passenger to the security after the plane landed. Belatedly, when the complaint of the victim became public, the airline banned the flyer for 30 days, something which is clearly not commensurate with the shameful behaviour.
