Where is Mojtaba Khamenei amid the ongoing Iran war? As the suspense over the whereabouts of the new supreme leader intensified, Iran's foreign ministry has issued a response. According to Russian media, Tehran said that Mojtaba Khamenei was safe and his public absence was due to warlike conditions. According to U.S. media reports, the 56-year-old Iranian leader was reportedly injured in the U.S. and Israeli strikes that killed his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28.
