President Joe Biden welcomed as "good news" word that U.S. health authorities again expanded the nation's booster campaign by opening extra doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to several million 16- and 17-year-olds. "Today we've got even more good news from the FDA and the CDC - 16 and 17-year-olds are eligible for boosters," Biden told reporters. Biden hailed the increased pace of booster vaccines being administered, "200 million with two shots and more kids vaccinated than any country on Earth."
