President Ashraf Ghani exits country as Taliban enter Kabul

As the Taliban enters Kabul and has almost completed its military takeover of Afghanistan, President Ghani has left the country for Tajikistan. Ghani’s exit was confirmed by Abdullah Abdullah, head of the Afghan National Reconciliation Council. He is also reportedly accompanied by other top officials of the country.
