Donald Trump’s cabinet members are tripping over themselves to suck up to the boss. They’re doing everything in their power, like making cringeworthy statements in praise of the supreme leader in a desperate effort to curry favour with him. Trump maybe the most powerful man in the world, but it seems he needs daily reminders of how powerful, how wonderful, how great a leader he is, unmatched in American history or perhaps world history. And his aides will stop at nothing to massage their dear leader’s ego, even if it means embarrassing themselves before the entire world. Remember the cabinet meeting Trump chaired two days ago? That was hard to watch wasn’t it? Little wonder then, that Trump’s closest aides are on the warpath with India. They seem to be engaged in a game of one-upmanship, trying to attack and insult India on a daily basis, and hoping to impress the boss. It’s as if it’s a daily contest of’who did it best.
