The first weekend lockdown to control the Covid-19 surge got positive response from the public after Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray announced the same. Streets and markets wear a deserted look in Pune city where only food delivery and essential services are allowed. Nakabandi and police checking continued in many parts of the city to enforce strict lockdown. The weekend lockdown and other curbs will continue till April 30.
