6 henchmen from the criminal gangster Gautam Singh Alias and W Singh, were arrested. They collected extortion from the bus stop in the name of the gang. After being arrested, they were handcuffed and made to walk barefoot on the road in the centre city, for people to memorise their faces and stop promoting any such activities going around in the Bus and tempo. SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that those henchmen were active as agents on the bus stop, 10% of the trip's earnings were being charged as extortion. SP Chandan Kumar Sinha also said that the matter would be discussed with the transport association and bus owners and necessary actions would be taken.Also an FIR was registered against Parmendra Kumar Babu and Mantu Tiwari for the accumulation of the extortion money.
