Nagpur: As Futala Lake level recedes, MahaMetro workers hit water at 2 metres nearby

Nagpur’s historical Telangkhedi lake is witnessing receding water level due to the alleged cracks in its embankment. The other side of the Telangkhedi lake road has ground water level at just 2 meter. At that location MahaMetro is constructing a multi-storey parking plaza. Groundwater at this level signifies seepage of lake water through gaps and cracks in the embankment wall.
