Mumbai: Doctors separate 15-month-old conjoined twins in landmark surgery
In a landmark surgery, two twins conjoined at birth have been successfully separated at the Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital in Parel. The twins Love and Prince were born with a common liver, intestine and urinary bladder in November 2016. The twins were separated after a complex 12-hour long surgery on December 12. The twins will be under observation for a few days which will be followed by multiple surgeries to ensure they stay healthy and become fit to lead normal lives.
