UP vet accuses Maneka Gandhi of threatening him over dog's surgery

A veterinary doctor in Uttar Pradesh accused that Bharatiya Janata Party MP has allegedly threatened him over a dog’s surgery. The UP doctor has claimed that the Member of Parliament threatened to cancel his license over a phone call for botching up a surgery on a dog, which he had conducted on 1st June, 2021. He also alleged that Maneka Gandhi asked him to compensate the owner of the dog. According to the vet, the dog's owner was at fault as he did not take proper care after the surgery due to which the stitches came undone.
