The new railway station building in Gorakhpur will be built with the demands and requirements of 50 years in mind. It will contain both contemporary amenities and regional folklore and culture. The estimated cost of creating this new station building is 612 crore. The North Eastern Railway's General Manager provided this information. He said that the Gorakhpur Junction rehabilitation plan will incorporate elements of the regional culture. Here, 17,900 square metres of new development are being considered. Additionally, the parking capacity of all types of vehicles has also been increased. It will have 44 lifts, escalators 21 and ticket windows in three hundred square meters. Along with this, It will be linked to the proposed metro station and bus station via a sky walk route. He added that there is no dearth of budget in its construction, nor is there any issue related to increase in passenger fare or other things.
