WB polls: EC to take a final call on clubbing phase 7 and 8 of polling

The Election Commission will meet at 4 pm today to take a final call on clubbing the remaining two phases of polling in West Bengal. CM Mamata Banerjee has been vocal in clubbing the 7th and 8th phase of polling in the state due to rising coronavirus cases. The last two phases of voting are scheduled for April 26 and April 29 respectively. The counting will be done on May 2.
