Forest fire rages in Yercaud range in Tamil Nadu, 100 hectares of trees vanish

A fire has been raging in the Yercaud range in Salem district of Tamil Nadu for three days. The fire has now started to spread from the mountain peak to the road due to gale winds. Over 100 hectares of trees have vanished. The fire has also spread all over the Kurumbapatti zoological park.
