After almost two and half month's lockdown, restaurants in Chennai reopen from Monday in the first phase of unlock 1.0. Around 25% of the eateries in the city will open with all the precautions following the administration's guidelines. There will be a change in the dining experience as waiters wearing masks and safety gears. Restaurants in the city have decided not to increase the prices for the moment. Most of the restaurants will run at 50% of their capacity. Sanitisation and thermal screening of visitors will be done at the gate.
